Photos are also one of the primary differentiators when competing against other properties. Great pictures, as opposed to average ones, make the viewer "want to be there", or "feel just like they are there". They convey a rich sense of color, light and surroundings, and leave a memorable impression. This is what we strive for in each of our photos.
Here’s an example of generating the proper balance between interior lighting and exterior sunshine – so that neither outweighs the other. The picture “feels” in balance, and remains true to what a renter will experience in this property.
Here’s an example of a low level wide angle exterior shot, capturing the horizon just before a sunrise. For those that have been to Sanibel, this is a classic image, and for those that have not, it inspires a great desire to visit.
Another technique we use on exterior shots in particular (but can also be used in some cases inside) involves focal length, where one object is brought into focus, while others are allowed to appear to drift out of focus. This concentrates the attention of the viewer on one aspect of the photo.
Some simple staging, using accessories that are available in your home or condo, can bring life to a picture. It gives the viewer a much warmer reception of your property.
